On Saturday, March 8th, all 4 of the Westchester Odyssey of the Mind Teams Qualified to advance to state!

Dinostories (Division II) : 2nd place

Dinostories (Division III) : 1st place

▪ Team Members : Jennifer Sayas (12th), Susan Renaud (12th), Ana Parpacen (12th), Adriana Valdez (12th), Thomas Cortner (12th), Maria Bernal (12th), David Alvarado (12th).


Road Rallies (Division III) : 1st place

▪ Team Members : Grant Williams (12th), Laura Simons (12th), Priscila Cevallos (10th), Justin West (10th), Maddie Donaldson (11th), Julian Breaux (11th).


Tee-Structure (Division III) : 1st place
▪ Coach : Lynn and Chris McMullin
▪ Team Members : Michael Chiles (11th), Calum Mitchell (11th), Matthew McMullin (11th), Nicholas Wike (11th), Cassie Hurst (11th), Colin Gray (11th), David Glover (11th).


 

We have some more exiting news! Our Tee-Structure (Div. III) team has recently been invited to participate in EuroFest 2008 In Kecskemét, Hungary! The team of 7 will be leaving in a few short weeks to Eastern Europe, and spend a week immersed in a different culture, surrounded by other kids their age. The 6 young boys, and 1 brave girl, will be demonstrating their solution to the problem that placed 1st in the Houston Region.
