WAIS Red Ribbon Week “Hugs Not Drugs”

October 26-30, 2009

 

Monday:  “Put A Cap on Drugs!” --- Hat Day

Tuesday:  “Hide from Drugs” --- Camo Day

Wednesday: “Kick Out Drugs” --- Boots Day-Western Wear Day

Thursday:  “Wildcats are ‘Paws’-itively Drug Free!” ---Crazy Socks and Crazy Bracelets Day

          *11th and 12th Graders-“Don’t Be a Punk, Dum Dums Drive Drunk!”

Friday:  “Scare Away Drugs” or “Super Heros Against Drugs”---Costume Day

Rules-

·  Buy a “ticket” to wear a costume on Friday for $1; Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday in the Dining Hall during lunch.  No tickets will be sold on Friday!

·  Students pick up tickets on Friday morning in the Dining Hall before 1st Period for final costume approval.

Costume Rules

No masks.

No overly baggie pants.

i.e.) no undergarments showing        

No spaghetti strap tops or thin tank tops.

i.e.) no cleavage showing

(The 4 “B’s”- no breast, backs, bellies or buttocks showing.)

SBISD Dress Code maintained.

Exceptions if part of costume:

*hats, caps, bandanas

*torn or tattered clothing

* temporary un-natural hair color

*spiked jewelry/accessories

 

 

Reglas del Disfraz

No Máscaras.

No Pantalones excesivamente grandes.

i.e.) no debe verse/mostrar ropa interior

No mini-blusas o camisetas de músculo.

i.e.) no debe mostrar escote

(Las 4 cosas que no deben verse son: no pechos, no espalda, no estómagos, y no glúteos.)

Se mantendrá el código del vestir de SBISD.

Excepciones solo si son parte del disfraz:

*sombreros, gorros y bandanas.

*Ropa con hoyos o rasgada.

* Pelo temporalmente pintado con colores no naturales.

*Joyería y accesorios con puntas.

 

Money from ticket sales will be donated to a local drug prevention program/center.
