Welcome to the homepage of the MedClub at Westchester Academy! Our goal is to promote knowledge of the medical field. Our group meets every Wednesday morning to discuss current medical issues, and create ways to educate the school community about medicine. We strive to aid students interested in becoming physicians/nurses/medical technicians. We also are preparing a fundraising program to give scholarships to these students.

Our Goals:

1. To develop understanding of medicine and recognize potential candidates for the medical field,
2. To promote healthy choices, ethical learning, and educational opportunities for its membership.
3. To create awareness about sickness, the person, and the community who suffer as well.
4. To consider and investigate medical science, preventive medicine, health, community service, and international health necessities.
5. To sponsor medical conferences and workshops, with different M.D. specialists, for students, administrators, and our community as well.
6. To provide trips to the medical center and opportunities to research and assist locally and overseas.
7. To build relationships with different organizations and medical schools around the world.
8. To raise a person's dignity without distinction of race, religion, or origin.
