Spring Branch ISD is hosting Parent U: Paying for College: FAFSA/TASFA Orientation for 12th grade families on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. via Zoom. 

To graduate, students are required to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or a Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA). This session will help attendees understand what is needed to successfully complete the applications and how they can request additional assistance. 

Additionally, this Parent U session  will inform families about the distinct types of financial aid available including, grants, scholarships, work-study and loans. Paying for college may feel daunting but families can prepare by staying informed.
