An IB Continuum School

The aim of WAIS and IB are synonymous. It is not just to help students collect knowledge, but rather to be inquisitive and conscious learners who will take initiative in their education and community. With the continually increase in global and international involvement, community today is not just the school or the city, but includes the global community as well.

This goes beyond preparing students for a test, but instead focuses on opportunities and environments to develop sets of skills, both independently and collaboratively, that will help them in any endeavor they face.

The skillset needed in the modern world goes beyond just being knowledgable. Today, students need experience in taking risks and being reflective on the results, being open-minded but still principled, communicating and caring, and finding balance in their lives.

The four IB Programmes span early childhood through graduation and not only provides a rigorous high-level education recognized all over the world, but also facilitates the development of traits and skills for students to develop into successful, caring, and well-rounded individuals.

WAIS offer 3 authorized IB Programmes:

  • Middle Years Programme:
        All students in grades 6-10
  • Career-related Programme:
Option for students in grades 11-12
  • Diploma Programme:
Option for students in grades 11-12

The Learner Profile
