From record-breaking scholarships to associate degrees earned before high school graduation, Spring Branch ISD (SBISD) students are leaving high school with more opportunities than ever before.
The Class of 2026 earned a record $56,275,443.24 in scholarships, reflecting the impact of SBISD's commitment to preparing students for success after graduation.
Through the district's T-2-4 vision, students graduate ready for a four-year university, a two-year college, the military, a career, or an industry certification. Programs such as OnRamps, Advanced Placement courses, career and technical education (CTE) pathways, internships and work-based learning experiences help students explore their interests and build a plan for the future.
This year also marked a milestone for SBISD's College Academies. The first cohort of students in the RISE College Academy at Northbrook High School (NHS) graduated with associate degrees before receiving their high school diplomas. By earning college credits while still in high school, these students saved significant time and tuition costs as they prepare for the next step in their education.
Together, the record scholarship total and the success of programs like RISE demonstrate how SBISD is creating opportunities that ensure Every Child has choices, opportunities and a pathway to success after graduation.
